Lou Perlman didn’t just “manage” pop. He engineered it. And somehow, after helping launch the Backstreet Boys and NSYNC, the same story spirals into deception, ugly contracts, and the early framework of a scandal that later gets labeled as one of the largest Ponzi schemes in American history.
