Dolly Parton Grief Culture And The Music News Grab Bag
Send in your music story! Eleven minutes of pure technical chaos somehow turns into one of the most honest conversations we have had in a while. Eleven minutes of pure technical chaos somehow turns into one of the most honest conversations we have had in a while. Once the mics finally cooperate, we talk about the death of Dolly Parton, what her legacy means, and why people feel protective of her in a way that is rare for any celebrity. We give her flowers for the philanthropy, the literacy work, and the generosity, while also being real about how fame can get amplified until it feels like a brand you cannot escape.
Then the conversation takes a sharper turn: what does it say about us when public attention and official gestures go big for a celebrity, but barely register for others who die in war or tragedy? We are not blaming Dolly, we are interrogating the system that decides what gets a statement, what gets a headline, and what gets forgotten. If you have ever felt uncomfortable with the way grief becomes content, you will know exactly what we are getting at.
From there we bounce back into music podcast mode with headlines like Tom Hardy dropping a bizarre album, plus a deep dive on AI-generated music and the new chart restrictions coming out of Australia. Should AI songs be banned from the charts, labeled, or placed in their own category? We argue it out, including the messy ethics of training data, credit, and what “human-made” even means now. We wrap with bracket updates, YouTube poll results, and a surprisingly heated Michael Jackson versus Red Hot Chili Peppers debate that turns into a love letter to how music videos shape memory.

Tech Meltdown Cold Open
SPEAKER_05Hey, what's up everybody? Future Harley here. So the episode starts off with some major tech technical difficulties this week. I just want to give you a heads up that it is roughly 11-ish minutes of complete, pure, utter chaos, but it is hilarious. So if you're interested, hang out, listen, and enjoy the entire show. If not, now's your warning. I recommend skipping to exactly 11 minutes in, and you will get to the beginning of the actual show. But you're going to want to hear all this. So, anyways, thanks for listening. Hope you enjoy it. And again, this is the Hook and Bridge Podcast. See you later.
SPEAKER_08Six, five, four, four, three, two, one. Killing spree. We're under attack.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, no shit. I think most of the world.
SPEAKER_02Let's talk about that.
SPEAKER_03I fucking love.
SPEAKER_04I'm the worst person to have a podcast.
SPEAKER_09I feel very what's up, everybody.
SPEAKER_05Welcome back to the show. I am your host, Harley, joined by my co-hosts. My little sister. Hi everybody.
SPEAKER_07Welcome back to the show. I'm Harley, your host, joined by my co-host and little sisters, Taylor and Chris. Chris, how are you today?
SPEAKER_06That's not even the right intro.
SPEAKER_08Hey, shut up, Taylor. Harley, I'm doing great. I I like baby face.
SPEAKER_07I have my baby face. I have my baby face. What's going on in your neck of the woods, dude?
SPEAKER_08Not much. Not much. Not much, not much.
SPEAKER_07Okay.
SPEAKER_08I'm dying a little a little slower every day. On the inside.
SPEAKER_07Aren't we all? Yeah. I mean, same here, dude. I I haven't done nothing all week. This is a laundry.
SPEAKER_08Like usual, because you're a piece of shit.
SPEAKER_07Yes, exactly. I don't play with my baby. I ignore my wife.
SPEAKER_08You don't answer my phone calls. I don't answer my phone. That one's true at all. That one's true.
SPEAKER_07But I expect everyone to answer my call.
SPEAKER_05That is also true. Let's keep doing this. I like this, guys. Keep going. I'll answer true statements about myself.
SPEAKER_07Because I'm still a piece of garbage.
SPEAKER_05That's also true. Who else has got one?
SPEAKER_07Guys, if you if you can't hear, neither can Harley. We can't hear him. Guys, as you can see, we've muted forever and never and never.
SPEAKER_05Don't forget the music news. This show's gonna be great. If you're gonna do this, you have to do it right.
SPEAKER_07Don't worry, nice.
SPEAKER_05There we go. There we go. Awkward silence.
SPEAKER_07What what is Harley saying?
SPEAKER_08I don't know. It's like he's speaking Mandarin.
SPEAKER_07That's my favorite instrument.
SPEAKER_05It would be so funny if you guys actually couldn't hear me.
SPEAKER_07I think he's in both of these, which is crazy.
SPEAKER_08I know he spit both of these.
SPEAKER_07That's funny.
SPEAKER_05Hold on, hold on, hold on. Where's it at? Where's it at? Where's it at?
SPEAKER_07Should we take it from the top? Got it!
SPEAKER_05Do you want to? Do you want to take it from the top? Are you giving up on being me?
SPEAKER_07In bed. Can I just can I curl up with a blanket?
SPEAKER_05Sure. Can you can you do it? Does it work?
SPEAKER_07Guys, I don't like being a host of the show. I feel lost. I don't I don't have my things ready. Should we release my Carly out?
SPEAKER_08No, no. He's got enough stress.
SPEAKER_07He looks great though. If you guys are watching on YouTube, he looks so HD right now. Look at him. You can barely see him. You can barely see you.
SPEAKER_05I gained three pounds though, so you know. Like I said, piece of shit.
SPEAKER_08Agreed. A fat one at that. Shut up. You shut up.
SPEAKER_07Shut up, Neg.
SPEAKER_08Say three nice things about yourself.
SPEAKER_05What did Taylor say? I don't play with my kid. I don't answer Chris's phone calls.
SPEAKER_08I wouldn't either.
SPEAKER_07I heard Harley has a boyfriend.
SPEAKER_05That's also true.
SPEAKER_07Who's real true about that? Harley does. Unfortunately, it's not you, so I've heard you slut. Something about a guy named Kyle.
SPEAKER_05Kyle? I don't even know a Kyle.
SPEAKER_07He drinks a monster and punches on the wall.
SPEAKER_05Taylor, did you Lindsay told me this? Did you see that they are making a frozen three and Olaf finally has like a.
SPEAKER_07Can you hear Harley?
SPEAKER_08It's kind of like he's here with us sometimes.
SPEAKER_07Sometimes? Why can't I hear him at all? I'm stressed.
SPEAKER_08Wait. Alright, hold on. We can hear you, dipshit. Let's do this thing.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, but you guys don't stop because I actually can't hear him.
SPEAKER_06Okay. Alright. All right.
SPEAKER_07I will record it right now. No, I can't.
SPEAKER_08No, no. Okay, okay.
SPEAKER_07Go ahead. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_05That's hilarious. Dude, that's so funny this whole time. This whole time that you have been playing a joke and Taylor can't hear me.
SPEAKER_07Sending sending it in the chat right now.
SPEAKER_05That's so funny, dude. Hold on. Hey, we can just do the whole trail like this.
SPEAKER_07No, no, no, no. I don't like all the jokes against me. Then I have FOMO.
SPEAKER_05Tell her to remove herself and come back in. That might fix it.
SPEAKER_08Remove yourself and come back in, he says.
SPEAKER_05You're removing yourself and come back.
SPEAKER_08Harley, I hope you're gonna edit this out.
SPEAKER_05Nah, this is all in.
SPEAKER_08Shit.
SPEAKER_05Taylor, can you hear me now? Oh, I think we broke her. Damn. Well, while Taylor is figuring her shit out, this is the Hook and Bridge Podcast, everybody. Welcome back to the show. I am your host, Harley, joined as always by my co-host and little sister Chris. And Taylor, who may or may not be able to hear me.
SPEAKER_07Oh no, wait. I still can't hear you.
SPEAKER_05What in the world?
SPEAKER_07Oh no, I can't hear you. Oh, it's because you guys muted me.
SPEAKER_05I'm not that dumb. I didn't mute you. Are you are you?
SPEAKER_07No, because I I could hear you before I came on.
SPEAKER_05Oh, did you mute yourself?
SPEAKER_07You guys muted me.
SPEAKER_05Did you mute yourself? Are you can you hear me now?
SPEAKER_07No. What the f I can't hear you or Chris. Let me try again.
SPEAKER_05Okay. Yeah, I think we will, I think we will restart this thing. I can't have another week of technical difficulties, dude. Great. It's been it's been like four weeks in a row.
SPEAKER_08So since here we're gonna restart this.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, why don't we get two of me? What are we doing? Yes. Hey, we fixed it. Okay.
SPEAKER_07Guys, that's so funny. Buddy, I really wasn't pranking you, dude.
SPEAKER_05I thought you were joking the whole time. I'm going to save. I no, I can't because I didn't start recording until anyways. Yeah, the whole time you were answering my questions, and so was Chris. And I was like, who's actually fucking with me?
SPEAKER_07No, no, literally, I because I could read your lips. But I sent the video, I couldn't hear you at all.
SPEAKER_05Oh my god, it was so funny. I am going to read. I am going to restart the show. What is that? A nicotine patch?
SPEAKER_08I got a got a glucose meter, and my wife seemed me fucking sweet. When did you get a glucose meter? Yeah, what? Like two weeks ago, but I just put it on today. Why didn't you tell me?
SPEAKER_07He can put it on by himself.
SPEAKER_05Oh that's such a big deal. Diabetes at your grown age is crazy. Hey, careful. He almost lost his eyes once.
SPEAKER_07We hang on. Are we restarting this?
SPEAKER_05Yes.
SPEAKER_07Okay. Are we cutting all of this?
SPEAKER_08Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Okay, can I tell you guys something really funny before we start?
SPEAKER_08As long as it breaks HIPAA laws, we're let's fucking do this.
SPEAKER_07I was gonna say, because it it might, I'm not 100% sure on that.
SPEAKER_05Hey, what's up, everybody? Future Harley here. Taylor proceeds to tell, quite frankly, one of the longest stories about something going on at her work that we clearly cannot put in the episode. Not to mention, we're already like almost 10 minutes in and the episode hasn't even started. I just really hope that you guys find this as hilarious as I do, which is why I left it in. If not, definitely let me know, and I'll never do this again. But I I think that the technical difficulties that we're going through are very funny. So, anyways, I promise the episode's gonna start soon, and we are gonna get to the music stuff that you're here for. So thank you for supporting. Thank you for listening, and yeah, enjoy the rest of the show. It's a good one. All right, future Harley out. Bye, everybody.
SPEAKER_07I don't like that. That makes me feel icky.
SPEAKER_08What is uh what were you doing? I was gonna say, like, Harley, man, you're a couple shades darker. I can't. How would you how'd you how'd you do that?
SPEAKER_06Wait, you don't know how to do that? Bubble gum shrimp.
SPEAKER_05It's hard. All right, I'm gonna I'm gonna restart. Okay, so we're gonna take a brief moment of silence.
SPEAKER_07Okay. Yeah, yeah, that's that's what it was. This is the remix to ignition hot and fresh air.
SPEAKER_05Fresh out the kitchen. Oh, okay, okay, okay.
SPEAKER_07Do you know that's on?
SPEAKER_05Zipping non-coking wrong.
SPEAKER_04She's like, oh what I'm drunk. Should we do a music?
SPEAKER_07Have me some fun. Hello, everybody.
Future Harley Sets The Stage
SPEAKER_07A sad day and music today. Sad, sad day. We lost a soldier. We lost a soldier, and this is gonna be an improv show, so let's talk about that. Read you.
SPEAKER_03I fucking love.
SPEAKER_04I'm the worst person to have a podcast. I can barely.
Dolly Parton Tribute And Hot Take
SPEAKER_05What's up, everybody? Welcome back to the show. I am your host, Harley, joined by my co-host and little sister Taylor, and my co-host and little sister Chris, whose nipples are very excited to talk today. And Taylor can't do improv to save her life. Yes, Taylor.
SPEAKER_07Can we redo? I got stressed. No way. Oh god, it's how embarrassing. Redo literally, I was like, we did listen.
SPEAKER_08I forgot the video was being recorded. I'm sitting there trying to make everyone laugh.
SPEAKER_07Like, which is crazy because RAP Dolly.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Well, I mean, Chris was doing his immemorial.
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Salute.
SPEAKER_08Boopy's out for dolly. It should have been like out here.
SPEAKER_05Salute to the late, great Dolly Parton. Will be missed. Thank you for sending. Thank you for sending Adam all of his books. We super love that.
SPEAKER_07Wait, guys, this might make me cry. This episode might make me cry.
SPEAKER_05Hear me out, all right?
SPEAKER_07Okay. She is on my hear me out.
SPEAKER_05I think Dolly Parton was a fantastic human being in every sense of the word. However, I think that she was exceptionally overrated in our society, and there was an entire section of the last couple of years where she became like the face of everything. Everyone was obsessed with her. Her face was everywhere. Her merch was everywhere. It filled Walmart's shelves.
SPEAKER_10And the DG, dude.
SPEAKER_05And it got to be way too much dolly for me. No. Again, I think she was a great person. Her music was lackluster to me. But here's my take. I don't want to get political, but this is going to be slightly political because it really pisses me off. We had 18 service members die recently. And no statement was made about those 18 people. Nothing at all. And Dolly Parton died. And a giant statement was made by the powers of this country. And the flags were ordered to fly at half-staff for a week. And we didn't even do that for our military service members who died. Literally, the reason the flags are supposed to fly at half-staff. That didn't happen. But we did it for Dolly Parton. That is that's just my take. That's what upsets me.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, yeah, but I think that's more of a well. Yeah, I think that's more of a mad at the people in charge, you know.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, yeah, it's not Dolly's fault. Okay, okay, yeah. Make that clear, like obviously it's not her fault. Yeah, no.
SPEAKER_08I'm not wrong. I read the news. I did not know about 18 service members.
SPEAKER_0518 service members have died recently in the attacks in the war. And that's that's as far as I'll state it here.
SPEAKER_09Yeah.
SPEAKER_05And and the fact that no statement was made about those service members, and instead we stopped a country because a fucking celebrity died is really, really upsetting. Again, that is not Dolly's fault. I think Dolly is an incredible human being, was an incredible human being. I've talked about her advocacy on here a couple of times. I love the literacy program, I love the funding of vaccines, I love all of the different things that she gave to the Red Cross, her community, the things that she did in her life are incredible. But that's my only issue is that what are we doing, guys?
SPEAKER_07No, for sure, for sure.
SPEAKER_08No, it's a societal issue.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, it is a societal issue.
SPEAKER_05That being said, though, R.I.P. Dolly, we lost the legend, and we also lost Tim Curry and Leslie.
SPEAKER_08Well, Hayden Penettier, too. I might have mispronounced it.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, she she also passed away very young, too. Also, yes. Um, but the voice of Optimus Prime, I believe his name was Peter Collin.
SPEAKER_09Oh yeah, black hat.
SPEAKER_07Let me see, let me see.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, Peter Collin. Yep, Peter Collin, the voice of Optimus Prime died as well.
SPEAKER_07Ah damn. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_05So talk about uh talk about a really rough week, guys.
SPEAKER_07Really rough week.
SPEAKER_05Deaths, yeah. Everybody has their time, and everyone has happened to be theirs, you know.
SPEAKER_07Dolly Dolly lived to be eight years old. She did incredible things. You know, she could have been a good job billionaire, dude. A good job billionaire, yeah. And you know why.
SPEAKER_05What do you mean?
SPEAKER_07Dude, she donated so much money everywhere. Like she was not stingy. She she donated, she funded, like.
SPEAKER_05Let's take a let's take a guess. Everybody take a guess of what you think Dolly Parton's net worth is.
SPEAKER_07Is net I have a question about net worth.
SPEAKER_05I'm gonna say 300 million. 300 million? Taylor, give your number, give your number first, and then we'll answer your question.
SPEAKER_07Okay, I'm gonna say two billion. Two billion? I don't know how much money is. Too high, too high, eight, eight. Uh uh, what Chris say three 300 million? I'm gonna say 600 million.
SPEAKER_05600 million?
SPEAKER_08Okay, probably closer.
SPEAKER_05The answer was 500 to 650 million is the estimated net worth of Dolly Parton. Yeah, Taylor, your first answer was like like Elon Musk levels.
SPEAKER_07Like, I don't know. I don't know how much things are.
SPEAKER_08There's a lot of catch up with Dolly, she already has a colony.
SPEAKER_07She already has.
SPEAKER_05There's a lot of millionaires. There's very few billionaires in this world.
SPEAKER_07Good job billionaires.
SPEAKER_05So, yes, Dolly Parton's net worth was pretty damn high, especially in her field. She was for sure, without a doubt, in the top one percent of musicians net worth. But again, she was an incredible person. She gets to work that nine to five upstairs. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_07I'm looking something up. Stand by.
SPEAKER_05She she no longer has to have a coat of mini colors, Chris. Because the only color she's gonna be.
SPEAKER_07Dolly gave away, also Dolly gave away an estimated of six hundred million dollars to carry in her lifetime.
SPEAKER_05There you go. She gave away her entire net worth.
SPEAKER_07Her entire network, that's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_05So, like, she would, yeah, she would have been a billionaire.
SPEAKER_07She would have that's what I'm saying. She would have been a billionaire. Imagination Library, Disaster Relief, Medical Research, Local Education.
SPEAKER_05Now, tell me what your favorite Dolly Parton songs are.
SPEAKER_08Nine to five. That is my favorite.
SPEAKER_05Working nine to five.
SPEAKER_08Dude, when they had it on Sat and the Beaver was singing it, I was like, oh hell yeah.
SPEAKER_05I want to do more. I want to do I want to do more heaven-related Dolly Parton quips real quick. Dolly, I'm sure you'll find Jolene up there somewhere, and you can beat that girl's head.
SPEAKER_07I was gonna say, Jolene is my favorite. There is a girl, I actually saved the TikTok. Can I play TikToks for you guys on my phone? Is that allowed?
SPEAKER_05It is not. What tick tick tocks are carp copyrighted, buddy?
SPEAKER_07Tell them to roll up. What do you mean?
SPEAKER_08You're ruining them alive.
SPEAKER_05Also, in case you didn't know, she wrote I will always love you, Taylor. She was the original.
SPEAKER_01I did know that actually.
SPEAKER_08And I think she wrote that and Jolene in the same session.
SPEAKER_07Dang, I did not know that.
SPEAKER_01Jolene. Jolene.
SPEAKER_07Oh guys, I really can't remember.
SPEAKER_01Okay, Joe.
SPEAKER_07So I was watching this TikTok, and this girl wrote a song to the tune of Jolene, but it was about Dolly.
SPEAKER_01Joe Move. Joe Move. Joe Move.
SPEAKER_07And I'm sad I can't play it for you guys, but it was beautiful. It was really incredible.
SPEAKER_05Joe Run. Joe Run. Joe Run. Joe Run.
SPEAKER_07But yeah, no. Sad, sad day. Um the I'm trying to think of who it was. The King and the Queen over in England. Their band, the British band of sorts.
SPEAKER_01The Beatles?
SPEAKER_07Yes. No, the um, the I don't, I'm not 100% sure on who they are, but it's like a marching band over there.
SPEAKER_08You too? Like the royal marching band?
SPEAKER_07Yes, yes, yes, yes.
SPEAKER_08Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club band. I was thinking beans and toast, but it's fingers and matches. So me me Atlas. I don't think creatures paying attention, but me and Atlas are watching Blippy. Yes. And he he has this this, I don't know if it's like an episode or like a sh movie, whatever. This own thing. Where they're over in England, and he's he's like recording blippies recording them, and it shows them. And I'm like, that's that's fucking cool. Yeah, it's like a royal marching band.
SPEAKER_07It's the royal marching band. They they did a tribute. I have to be able to show you guys that.
SPEAKER_05Absolutely.
SPEAKER_07Dude, it was on it was on the news network.
SPEAKER_05That uh the news is also copyrighted, buddy. That's so you can understand they're gonna draw and quarter you if you do that.
SPEAKER_07Probably. I'll I'll have to send it to you guys separately, then you'll have to go watch them if you please. But they also did a tribute of working nine to five. And it was all sound like Ringo Star?
SPEAKER_05Do they all sound like Ringo Star?
SPEAKER_07It was genuinely so amazing, like to watch, especially as a band kid. I was like, that's crazy that you guys just pulled that out and just did that.
SPEAKER_05One one of the guys looks at the other one and he's like, Hey Bub, did you know Dolly Borden died today?
SPEAKER_07Literally.
SPEAKER_08I feel like Canadian.
unknownYes.
SPEAKER_05I don't know.
SPEAKER_07It was not the best.
SPEAKER_05So I tried to pick like somewhere in the middle.
SPEAKER_07I feel like we've been so close to world peace in two points in history. The World Cup being held in the United States of America and then Dolly Parton dying.
SPEAKER_00What?
unknownI don't know.
SPEAKER_07I felt a lot of sportsmanship during the World Cup. Like it was crazy. Like we're all just like watching and rooting. And I'm like, this is great. I get why people love things.
SPEAKER_06You mean the thing that happens every year?
SPEAKER_07You can every year, but but everyone got because everyone hates America, and so many people got to come to America to see the World Cup, and they're like, Oh my gosh, let me go to a Bucky's for the first time. Like watching people just like enjoy American things. It was cool.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. All right. I mean, sure. I don't know, dude. Okay. But or just the world cup in general.
SPEAKER_07I felt like we were pretty, pretty united during that time.
SPEAKER_05But like we travel to other countries and do the same shit. I don't travel anywhere. Yeah, I'm saying Americans, though.
SPEAKER_07Like, yeah, but I'm saying it's cool as an American to see that.
SPEAKER_05Americans go to Europe and they're like, I'm sure hang out at the Royal Palace.
SPEAKER_07I'm sure Europeans think it's cool. Like as an American, I thought no, they don't.
SPEAKER_05They think we're nuisances.
SPEAKER_07Oh no, I thought it was pretty cool. I'm like, yeah, come on over, enjoy, enjoy things here.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, but like that's not world peace. There's no world peace. What?
SPEAKER_07No, but like, but like we all came together, even united.
SPEAKER_05No, we weren't united.
SPEAKER_06But we're all saying, she did say the closest.
SPEAKER_05All right, all right. So you saw the videos of all these foreign people enjoying our stuff, right? Did you also see the videos where all of the Americans were yelling about the foreigners coming over here for the World Cup and complaining about how it was going to be all these foreigners? And then we also made fun of them when they came over here and they were like, Oh my god, it's so hot. And we're like, damn right, because we're Americans, we could deal with this shit. You didn't see those videos?
SPEAKER_08No, see, no, listen, listen. I think those are I think those are warranted because you see all the videos where where they're like, you know, it's oh, it's you know, what would be 73 degrees here? Like Americans just don't know, and it's like that's a cool day. Like what are you talking about?
SPEAKER_05No, I agree with you. It's just crazy to say that we were united when there was an equal amount of fun of people.
SPEAKER_08She didn't say united, she said closest to world peace. I'm just arguing the argument.
SPEAKER_05You know, when we were closest to world peace, Taylor. Let me tell you, let me tell you, listeners, here's when we were closest to world peace.
SPEAKER_08Let me take you back one second. When half the world didn't know the other half of the world existed.
SPEAKER_05Let me take you back to a time in my childhood. Taylor, you'll remember this year fondly. The year was 2000.
SPEAKER_08Shut up, shut up, shut up.
SPEAKER_07The month was September.
SPEAKER_05The date was the 12th. Oh my gosh, you mean when the date when everyone was the most united as a globe. As a country, you mean when not just as a country, we were we were united as a country for sure, but the globe with dude, with all due respect to everybody out there, on September 12th, half of this world were like, hey, we're here, we're ready. You let us know where you need us. That is fucking world peace, right there, buddy. And you know what came from that common enemy, yeah, horrible things after the 13th was probably the worst day in history, but on the 12th, on the 12th, we were the closest to world peace that we've ever been, and then we all decided to hate people from a specific country. But we were, but hey guys, tight rope, tightrope, tight rope.
SPEAKER_07Anyways, RIP Oli. Yes, very sad thing.
SPEAKER_05It was it was terrible, it was terrible. I don't have anything planned, guys. What other music stuff do you want to talk about?
SPEAKER_07That was the only thing I had.
SPEAKER_05Full disclosure. Full
Guest No-Show And Dolly Facts
SPEAKER_05disclosure. We were supposed to have an interview today, and the guest didn't show.
SPEAKER_07So no phone, no show.
SPEAKER_05This is this is an impromptu episode. We have no plans, we have no game. I can't even do the fourth episode of the bracket because we're not prepared. We we still have voting going on, so can't even do that, guys. Well, I'm avoiding talking about video games because I feel like my go-to anytime I don't have anything to talk about with music is video games, and that's very difficult.
SPEAKER_08Anyways, so Dolly Facts. Okay, well, you do some dolly facts. I've heard this one before, but she lost a look-alike contest.
SPEAKER_04I did see that.
SPEAKER_08So she entered she entered a Dolly Parton look-alike contest. And I from what I gather it was a drag queen contest, yeah.
SPEAKER_05That's hilarious. And she lost. That's damn it the schlong wasn't big enough, dude. They were like, they were like, you're not packing like Dolly is.
SPEAKER_08Why? Because you did the recipe.
SPEAKER_05I did the recipe. I played a uncopyrighted version of 9 to 5. It was it was like close to 9 to 5, but it wasn't the actual song. And then we showed like pictures of Dollywood in the video, and we showed like the recipe, and and it was a fun video, actually. Do you guys want to watch it? I will watch it later, but not right now. Oh, okay. All right. You guys want to watch Family Guy clips?
SPEAKER_07We got any uh go go pull up your Instagram. We can watch
Trading Memes And Game Clips
SPEAKER_07some Instagram things.
SPEAKER_05I could do that. Let me you guys vamp, I'll I'll pull it up, see if Lindsay's got anything she sent us.
SPEAKER_07I don't know what that word means.
SPEAKER_05You say it every time. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_07Is that is that something someone in their 30s say or it's something that we say in the industry as industry leaders? Got it. So people in their 40s.
SPEAKER_05I have it pulled up. I have three that we could watch. There are two that I have specifically for Chris. And you can tell me if I need to cut them. Probably.
SPEAKER_08If you have to ask that, yeah, you probably need to cut them.
SPEAKER_05They're so funny though. They're so funny, dude. All right, we'll just play these three. Yes. And share screen. Share audio.
SPEAKER_06If I was a sculptor. But then again, no.
SPEAKER_05You guys probably don't know that song, right?
unknownYes.
SPEAKER_05That's uh oh, okay, okay. That's Elton John, everybody else. Is this Billy Joel?
SPEAKER_06If I was a sculptor.
SPEAKER_05Let's see, we'll do this one.
SPEAKER_00Nine oh four, nine seven two seven one three three one four two oh one. Nine one six oh one five seven oh four two oh six eight oh eight two one six seven oh two oh one four three one two two eight one three three four two oh five three one eight six oh one two oh three eight oh four four oh two three oh one nine oh four four oh seven eight five foundicrous as an accountant or a just reading area codes.
SPEAKER_05Or uh or uh well he does that in the song. Um or a loot accountant as the sign says.
SPEAKER_07Very funny, very funny.
SPEAKER_05And how about this one?
SPEAKER_06That one's pretty funny. That's good.
SPEAKER_05That one's pretty good. Okay, I'm I'm just gonna click on it. Tell me if it's too much.
SPEAKER_06You're finally awake. Let me tell you something. They have treated me so bad too much. Oh, that's fucking hilarious, dude. I'm gonna send it to you. I'm gonna send it to you. There's another one. I love it. It's so funny, it's so funny. Shit. Oh man, Skyrim. So good, it's so good, dude. There's another one that I have. It's him as Hogwarts Legacy. Is that two girl woke up? He played Slytherin.
SPEAKER_05Oh shit. Okay, I'm gonna send it to you. You've gotta watch it because it's so funny. Anyways, those are those are the three that we can show, guys. It's it's so good, dude.
SPEAKER_08So I'm reading music news. Tom Hardy releases a wild album. So actor Tom Hardy dropped the new album featuring Shakespearean re
Tom Hardy Drops A Wild Album
SPEAKER_08recitations and recreations? No, it's recitations. Recitations? Recitations, yeah. Never used that word before. And raps about comic book villains. That's funny. I have to fucking check this out. He was in Venom. Yeah, oh yeah. I mean, he was in a shit ton of movies. Like, that's not even the first one I think of.
SPEAKER_05He was Zane in The Dark Knight Rises. He used to talk like this.
SPEAKER_08Oh, let's see. Oh. New AI chart restrictions. Official music charts in Australia announced that a wholly
AI Music And Chart Rules
SPEAKER_08AI-generated recordings are banned from charting, requiring tracks to be substantially human-made.
SPEAKER_05Interesting.
SPEAKER_08That's I think, yeah. Yeah. I think that that's a great step.
SPEAKER_05Again, it bounces back to that conversation we've been having of like what is art? You know what I mean? Like who decides what art is? Have we had that talk on the show? No, not on the show. So I know you and I have talked. Yeah, you and I have talked about we've had AI music talks on the show.
SPEAKER_07We have had that exact conversation on the show.
SPEAKER_05Oh, have have we actually had it on the show?
SPEAKER_07Because like you guys can talk about it again, but like we've had like it is heavily extensive talk.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, it is interesting. It's very difficult though, because like should we be stopping these songs from charting? Is that technically fair, or are we No?
SPEAKER_08I think stopping them from charting or being listed, you know, like that makes sense.
SPEAKER_05I think they should be listed in their own category.
SPEAKER_08Like if you want to make money by doing it and people want to buy it, awesome. Yeah, but like different leagues, you know what I mean? You don't compare the NBA to the WNBA, and I'm not saying that man. Jesus, some comparisons can be made. But but that you know what I mean? They're two different leagues.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, those dudes don't know how to play basketball.
SPEAKER_08Exactly. There we go. There we go. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05But what I'm saying is like if somebody makes an AI song and it's so good that it captivates the world and charts to number one, then they should have their own charts. Should they have their own charts or should we just put them in their own category of music? Because that in turn, in turn, though, like like let's let's break it down. Let's say that let's say that AI music is its own genre, right? So what I'm kind of getting at is like in that sense, that's like saying that a rock song can't chart because it's a rock song. Does that make sense? Like it should be its own genre.
SPEAKER_08AI music should be its own genre, and the people that love it, you're still allowing it to be in the top 100.
SPEAKER_05But if the people love it, like that's their choice, you know what I mean? Because like rock songs don't chart in the top 100, but they have their own chart. There's the rock chart list, the top 100 rock songs. Does that make sense? Like Billboard has its own divided up chart already.
SPEAKER_08Then again, if I mean if you had a dog jumping on a piano and for some fucking reason a billion people bought it, it's gonna chart, it's not human.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, maybe that's a dumb example, but but it it is a good valid example. Like, at what point do we decide what's art and what's not, just because it's not and I hate saying not man-made because like it is still man-made, like it's not like it made it itself. Yeah, we've used Chat GPT, we've used AI, it can't just make things up on its own, it needs input, it needs programming, it needs direction.
SPEAKER_08So now, one thing I do think though is with a with AI art, uh art, I'll put it that way, I have arguments with Faith all the time about it. I do think though, that if it uses someone else's artwork in any kind of way, oh yeah, as in like inspiration, then those people should be listed. You know what I mean? Like it shouldn't have an extensive list, like, okay, if they I don't care if they took the smallest bit, like we took Kanye's craziness. Okay, put them on there.
SPEAKER_05I I also agree that that should be put in its own category, it shouldn't be allowed to be at the the museum with human arts, yeah. It should be put in its own place, and and I do like so recently Meta and YouTube and pretty much all of the the algorithmic programs have started requiring a label on AI works. So, like if you make something with AI, it when you go on Instagram, it says this was made with AI, and it gives you a percentage, it'll say this is you know 50 AI, this is 100% AI. And ChatGPT, according to what I read about Meta, because they they hit me up with uh, hey, a lot of your stuff is AI, and I was like, Hey, I fucking know.
SPEAKER_08No shit.
SPEAKER_05I don't hide it, but they hit me up and they told me, like, you can still post this stuff, but you need to know that ChatGPT now has a hidden signal within its stuff that when you use it in an art capacity, it has something in the metadata that the algorithms are able to look at and say, Oh, that is AI, and it includes the percentage of how much of it is AI.
SPEAKER_08Oh, so like if you post something, it'd be like what 0.5% AI.
SPEAKER_05Who me?
SPEAKER_08Yeah.
SPEAKER_05No, all of no mine's 100% AI because it's 100% AI generated artwork. Does that do you get what I'm saying? The actual artwork, but what there's if there's voices, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. No, I'm talking about just the artwork that I'm putting on Instagram. All of our other stuff is not AI driven. So our short clips, yeah, our short clips are like 10% AI because it's just pulling the the information from the episodes. But like when I put up posts and and like the brackets and stuff, those are generated through AI. Speaking of our bracket system, should we talk a little bit about this? Could be like a prequel to round four of the bracket system. Chris wasn't around
Bracket Talk And Voting Updates
SPEAKER_05for rounds two and three, right? Yeah, what was your take? Did you like where we've ended up so far?
SPEAKER_08I am for the most part, yeah. For the most part, I agreed. Like when you guys were like, oh no, for sure, yeah. I was like, Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_05I still have a sneaking suspicion that Garth Brooks is gonna clean house. I fucking hate Garth Brooks. Really? Friends in Low Places. You hate friends in low places.
SPEAKER_08No, I didn't say I hate every song, it's like every other artist, though. You know what I mean? I might like one or two songs. I'm better than I like a dozen.
SPEAKER_05I don't know if like is enough to describe how I feel about that song in particular. I could care less about anything else Garthbrook has ever made. Dude, that song in particular means so much to me.
SPEAKER_08Dude, I think like I think that's like Sweet Caroline. It comes on and everybody sings, right? You know what I mean? Like, I know I want to never mind. I do not want to harm myself because I just said it now, it's stuck in my head. Have this baby shark. There we go.
SPEAKER_01Baby shark.
SPEAKER_08Have you heard the metal version?
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah. Oh, dude.
SPEAKER_08Atlas was listening to it today when I picked him up from school. He's from the back seat, just but yeah. Yeah, I think it's one of those.
SPEAKER_05So I I think that I think that that has a strong chance of winning. I also think that Kanye might be a sleeper cell, dude. I think Kanye might also have a pretty strong chance. He might have a pretty strong chance of wiping the floor with the competition. I hope so. Another recent development, Taylor. Remember that girl that we watched from America's Got Talent? Nene? Or I think that was her name, Nene. Nene? I'm not sure. Nene. I think her name was Nene. Yes, Taylor. I was thinking of the same thing. Watch me whip. She got the golden buzzer. Did you see that?
SPEAKER_07I did not, but it's about time.
SPEAKER_05Yes, she got the golden buzzer. The golden buzzer is where they send somebody straight to the finale and they don't have to do the rest of the competition. But she did a cover of Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden, and that pushed her through.
SPEAKER_08Damn, I'd like to see that.
SPEAKER_05I would love to show it to you, but no, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_08I don't mean on the show. Yes, yes.
SPEAKER_05So I do want to talk about our polls that we have up right now. We do have some voting. The first one that I put up was Kanye, Pink Floyd, Garth Brooks, and Caether. Pink Floyd took 56% of the votes.
SPEAKER_08And to think they're just a Beach Floyd cover band. That is wild, man.
SPEAKER_05Like Kanye only got 11 votes. And then Garth Brooks got 22%, and Caesar got 11 as well. This poll is on this is on YouTube. You can vote on YouTube under our post section on our YouTube page. The other one was Lincoln Park, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Michael Jackson. Lincoln Park got 25% of the votes. The Red Hot Chili Peppers got 38%. Harry Styles was on there. Harry Styles got zero, Taylor, just so you know. And Michael Jackson got 38. The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Michael Jackson are tied for votes right now. So there's that. I was talking with Lindsay's sister, Courtney, who is an advid listener and commenter, and she said the reason that she doesn't like these polls is because it comes off as you're voting one of these artists against the other three artists, and they're not lining up in a way that makes sense. She was like, I'm voting for Michael Jackson, but I love these other bands. But when I think of how Michael Jackson surpasses all these other artists, it makes me vote for Michael Jackson. And I was like, Well, that's not what I want. That's not the purpose of the poll. So I might do them again and put them up every day with two artists instead of four and have it be the two artists that would go against each other. Because I do want reasonable competition to get the proper votes out. But as of right now, that's where we're at. Michael Jackson is tied with the red hot chili peppers and Garth Brooks and who was the other one that I said.
SPEAKER_08Wait, you think Michael Jackson is tied with the red hot chili peppers?
SPEAKER_05Yes, sir. Unless somebody just went in there and voted.
SPEAKER_06No way.
SPEAKER_05Hey, looky there. Michael Jackson now at 44%. That's crazy that you would pick Michael Jackson over the chili peppers. Dude.
SPEAKER_08Dude. Like, I'm not listening to Michael Jackson while I'm cleaning. Red hot chili
Michael Jackson Vs Chili Peppers
SPEAKER_08peppers all day. Michael Jackson any any any other time, though. You love Michael Jackson? Really? I love little Michael. Do you really?
SPEAKER_05Dude, I fucking love Michael Jackson. Hell yeah. Really? Yes. That fascinates me. Why? Yeah. Why? I don't know. The music's gonna move. I mean, there's no judgment. I'm just fascinated. I don't understand the hype of Michael Jackson.
SPEAKER_07I I am also surprised by this fact that you're going to choose Michael Jackson over the red hot chili button.
SPEAKER_08Trust me, my finger went like this a couple times.
SPEAKER_07Like, that's wild.
SPEAKER_05I agree with the legacy. And I think that's what I said on the episode was that I agree with the legacy. But like his music to me was not innovative in any way. It was kind of, I guess, a little revolutionary for the time, but his voice is the only thing that really set him off as far as like different than than the rest of the world and his and his dancing. But I really couldn't care less about choreography. I know there's a lot that goes into it, and I respect the people that do it, but choreography is just not something that I care about. I don't know how else to put it.
SPEAKER_08Um it's not it's not a factor. I will say though, I mean, choreography goes along with either a live show or a music video. And there's been times where I thought, like, oh, okay, that song's that's all right. And then I watched the music video and I'm like, now every time I hear the song, I picture a badass music video and I'm like, I fucking love that song. So it does factor in for me, you know. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05No, I can understand that.
SPEAKER_08It's like putting a song with a memory or song with a movie, you know what I mean? Like, who sung the speaking of fucking Transformers, you know?
SPEAKER_05Lingham Park. Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_08It's like next time you hear that song, what do you see? Fucking Optimus Frog. Yeah, you know what I mean? Like, that's yeah, it does add to it.
SPEAKER_05But what I what I will say is I agree with you in the sense of the music video tells a story that builds a memory. However, the red hot chili peppers have one of the greatest music videos of all time. The can't stop music video where they're all video game characters? Do you remember this?
SPEAKER_08No. I will be watching it.
SPEAKER_05Oh, we're gonna watch it right now because I'll just do it without the sound. And we will sing it. Can't stop music
The Can't Stop Video Rabbit Hole
SPEAKER_05video. Yeah, here we go. And we are golden. Are you guys ready to see this music video? I'll sing it. Wrong button. All right, here you go, Chris. This is the can't stop music video. This is the you had to have seen this growing up because this video was awesome for me when I was growing up.
SPEAKER_08No, dude, I didn't have internet most of my childhood.
SPEAKER_05This wasn't on the internet. This was on Was it on CMT? Well, no, it wasn't on CMT. But it was it was on TV and when I was in school because they had like the morning school program, and they would play music videos in the morning, and this was one of the ones that would play in the morning, and it's awesome. Can't stop addicted to the shindig. Anyways, it had Flea, it had the rest of the band, John Vrashanti and Anthony Keatis and Chad Michael Murray? No, what the hell is the drummer's name? Chad something.
SPEAKER_08Chad Chadwick?
SPEAKER_05No, Chad Chatterson, something like that. No, I don't think so. But yeah, dude, they they were video game characters, and it was like old PS2 style shit.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, that does look pretty dope. That that is yeah, that shit takes me back right there. Like, yeah, dude. Yeah, I've never seen this before, but it definitely takes me back from like Tony Hawk.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, yeah, yeah. This was awesome.
SPEAKER_08And at V, you know, uh was it Off-Road Fury? Off-road fury, dude. Yeah, or like was it four?
SPEAKER_05Oh, I don't remember which number it was, but do you remember the snowboarder game?
SPEAKER_08I only ever played the demos that came with the game. Me too.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, dude. It had like it had snowboarder and like the first level of spyro.
SPEAKER_08Yep. Oh, did it have the the the fucking like floating jet ski things?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, yeah, yeah. Anyways, yeah, the red hot chili peppers, guys. So yeah, I I don't know, man. I I think right now my biggest contenders are the chili peppers or Garth Brooks, those are my two picks. But as of right now, the leading option is Pink Floyd.
Arguing For Garth Brooks Magic
SPEAKER_05People seem to really love Pink Floyd, which is not what I was expecting. Taylor, your thoughts.
SPEAKER_07I love Pink Floyd, so I I'd be happy if they if they took a sweep. Makes sense. Doesn't didn't see it happening, love to see it happen.
SPEAKER_05Again, though, I'm gonna I'm gonna do what's that movie with Matthew McConaughey where he plays the lawyer. Lincoln?
SPEAKER_07Lincoln Lawyer?
SPEAKER_05No, no, not that one. Was it Double Jeopardy? A time to kill. I'm I'm gonna time to kill this right now, alright? I want you and Chris to close your eyes. Okay. Close them. Close them. Get them closed. I need you to visualize this for me. Picture that you're out in the woods and there's a bonfire.
unknownAnd you're naked.
SPEAKER_05No, you're not naked. There's a bonfire. We're sitting there, we're chilling, we're having a great time. I open up a cooler next to me. And I say, Chris, you want a corona? You say, Hell yeah, brother. I hand you the corona. Taylor, you want a white claw? You're like, Absolutely, buddy. I hand you a white claw, and we're sitting there, and the fire's perfect. It's a fall night. It's amazing. The crickets are out, they're singing, we're drinking, we're having a great time. Everybody loves everybody. And then out of nowhere, you hear, blaming all of my roots. I showed up and boom.
SPEAKER_10Yeah.
SPEAKER_05In your black tie here. Last one to know. Last one to show. I thought I'd be the last one you thought you'd see there, whatever the song is. Anyways, point is picture you're white now.
SPEAKER_08My wife?
SPEAKER_05No, no, you're white. Like the movie.
SPEAKER_08Oh, I am. Okay, okay.
SPEAKER_05Oh like what? Now now picture she's white. Have you seen that movie? Lincoln Lawyer? Yes. No, no. Time to kill.
SPEAKER_07Time to kill.
SPEAKER_05No. Taylor, that was a great joke, right?
SPEAKER_07No, it was pretty good. Okay.
SPEAKER_05Chris, now you have to watch that movie.
SPEAKER_07It's a really good movie.
SPEAKER_05It's a fantastic movie.
SPEAKER_07It's what made me fall in love with Matthew McConaughey.
SPEAKER_05Isn't Samuel L. Jackson in that one?
SPEAKER_07I don't know.
SPEAKER_05I can't remember. But but regardless, it's an incredible movie. It's a really good movie. He gives this whole monologue during the trial, and he tells everybody close their eyes. And he tells them this story about this girl being brutally murdered and taken advantage of against her will. And then it and this is the movie takes place like during the time of the 40s and 50s, I think. Yeah, yeah. There's a word for it though. Jim Crow? Yeah, that type of story.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, during that time, yeah.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. So, anyways, the the jury's all-white jury. This is a southern case. He makes them all close their eyes. He tells them this story about this little girl, and then he and then out of nowhere, the line is this this is dude, Matthew McConaughey is actually. You know what? Can we watch it? Let's just watch it. You want to watch it?
SPEAKER_08I will be watching it because dude, I always just saw him sitting on the front of a Lincoln, and I was like, I do love Matthew McConaughey as an actor.
SPEAKER_05Well, that's the Lincoln lawyer. That's the Lincoln Lawyer.
SPEAKER_08I can think of the wrong thing. There's another one.
SPEAKER_05Which is also a great movie. The Lincoln Lawyer is a great movie. But, anyways, so he tells him to do all that, closes her eyes and everything, and then and then he's standing there, and it's it's quiet. The scene's real real intense, real dark, real emotional. And he goes, Now picture she's what? And dude, it's sends chills down your spine. It's so good.
SPEAKER_07It's a bar. It's a bar, so good.
SPEAKER_05It's it's the ultimate, it's the ultimate reprise to any race-related argument you'll ever have in your life. It's great. So time to kill the Lincoln Lawyer, Matthew McConaughey. Fantastic actor.
SPEAKER_07Fantastic writer, too. Everyone should go read his memoir.
SPEAKER_05It's one of my faves.
SPEAKER_07It's fantastic.
SPEAKER_05Also, a crazy movie. That that movie is wild. Was that it's days and confused, right?
SPEAKER_06Yeah. Dude, and you know what's crazy? You did.
SPEAKER_07Is that line? One, I'm pretty sure was improvised, and two, he
McConaughey Movies And Reading Habits
SPEAKER_07was supposed to have such a small part.
SPEAKER_08Yes, I read that. Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_07That like he was like, this whole thing just set off my career, and it wasn't supposed to.
SPEAKER_05Like it's a good one. But I mean, the line is that's what I love about high school girls. I keep getting older, they stay the same.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_05That's crazy.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, of course. That's not gosh.
SPEAKER_07That's such a good book.
SPEAKER_05You could never make Daised and Confused today. That movie would cancel everyone's careers that ever agreed to do that movie.
SPEAKER_07I read his memoir in one day.
SPEAKER_05Really?
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_07Did it have pictures? Some, yeah.
SPEAKER_08They were all klein ads. I was waiting for you to say no.
SPEAKER_07No, there were pictures. There are pictures.
SPEAKER_05It was just it was just all of him and Calvin Klein ads, where it's just him and his underwear.
SPEAKER_07Yes.
SPEAKER_05He's for his book cheeks in my concert. Taylor's reading it, and she goes, All right, all right, all right.
SPEAKER_07While I'm working at the library behind the front desk. Hey, I'm not shaming you, girl. Do you think?
SPEAKER_05No, I've never read a book.
SPEAKER_08I'm waiting for the other part of that sentence.
SPEAKER_05Nope.
SPEAKER_09Nope, it's just that.
SPEAKER_05There was gonna be another part, but it was funnier if I just left it at that. I've never read a book in a day. I've never read a book in a week. I've read books that have taken me like a couple months.
SPEAKER_08Oh, I've read a book in a week.
SPEAKER_05A week?
SPEAKER_08Yeah.
SPEAKER_07I finished like three books last week.
SPEAKER_08Like that's crazy. Now hope she's sitting over here playing Monster Hunter.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I know. I can hear her.
SPEAKER_08That shit head. That shithead. She she reads so much. Really? Yeah, a lot of smut though. I like it.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. She's giving me. I don't I don't read. I don't read guys. I'm not a reader.
SPEAKER_07I'm more of a you should get into smut.
SPEAKER_05I'm more just writing though.
SPEAKER_07Just writing.
SPEAKER_05I'm more I'm more of a watcher than I am a reader.
SPEAKER_07Gotcha, gotcha, gotcha.
SPEAKER_08Oh, speaking of that, did your Batman costume come back from the track players?
SPEAKER_05It has not yet. No, no. Not no no vengeance. No vengeance. For real, though, I think I might try and read Jurassic Park again.
SPEAKER_07I'll read it with you. You want me to reread it with you?
SPEAKER_05I was thinking about doing an audiobook because I don't think I'm gonna ever actually no, there's no shame, no shame in an audiobook.
SPEAKER_07I I love an audiobook game. I love it.
SPEAKER_05But you know what, though? Hand me a comic book, dude. I'll read it cover to cover in an evening.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, you like a picture book? Right, Dr. Seuss. I bet Adam does the same thing.
SPEAKER_05Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
SPEAKER_07Hungry, hungry caterpillar.
SPEAKER_05Hey, hey. My comic books are big, dude. They're like thousand pages.
SPEAKER_06Of pictures.
SPEAKER_05Well, there's words too. They're just small words. Yeah, they're small words to capture the moment.
SPEAKER_07One word per segment.
SPEAKER_05Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. Sometimes there's entire paragraphs.
unknownFive.
SPEAKER_05Have you ever read a comic book?
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
SPEAKER_05A manga, if you will.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, I read Pokemon.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, that's what I'm reading right now. Hey, oh, reel it in. I told Chris. I told Chris I listened to the last episode, and I was like, we should just retitle this podcast, the Pokemon Podcast, that sometimes talks about music. Because we literally talked about
Pokemon Tangent And Off-Limits Stories
SPEAKER_05we literally talked about Pokemon for 40 minutes, dude. It was bad. That should have been pulled open.
SPEAKER_07I got the sky. I got to the sky people, by the way.
SPEAKER_08I went right back. I hated everything about that. It's 2026. Are you allowed to call them sky people now?
SPEAKER_07I think so.
SPEAKER_05That's better than what we call the ones in the desert.
SPEAKER_08No awkward silence here.
SPEAKER_05I'll probably cut that apart. He won't. I won't. You won't. Hey, if Star Wars can do it, so can I?
SPEAKER_07But listen, that text you sent us, I showed the kid I work with, and he read it, and he goes, Yeah, like 7:30. I said that's when it's except when he goes, yeah.
SPEAKER_05I I wanna I want to talk about that, but I can't. No, you know. But that has been our show, everybody. I don't know what else to uh to talk about other than unless we just want to yap. Again, I'm fine with just doing some yapping, but I fear I am a little sleepy.

SPEAKER_08Yeah, guys, leave some comments. Should I show more cleavage in the show?
SPEAKER_05Yes, yes.
SPEAKER_08Also, Taylor something you people want to see.
SPEAKER_05So you heard it. If you want to see more of Chris's cleavage, give us a big old thumbs up in the comments.
SPEAKER_07Just Chris's, because if you say mine, you're a creep.
SPEAKER_05Agreed. If you say mine, I'm gonna make you pay for it.
SPEAKER_07If you say mine, Harley's gonna come fist bite you.
SPEAKER_05If you don't want to see it, we need something besides a thumbs down because a thumbs down is too negative.
SPEAKER_07How about a comment saying you don't want to see it?
SPEAKER_05No, we need an emoji. We're gonna do thumbs up for if you want to see it. What's that one emoji where it's like the hands? They're like no, that's like the like the praying hands. That one, do the praying hands, I guess. Pray for Chris.
SPEAKER_07Um, anyways, the praise hands, not the praying hands, the praise hands.
SPEAKER_05That is that is our show, everybody. Thank you very much. See ya later. Three, two, one, everybody. Have fun.
SPEAKER_08I haven't even done any drugs. What the hell was that?
